Our Grapple Saw Range

Powerhand Grapple Saw EX Series

Versatile, Secure and Efficient
powerhand grapple saw
Take versatility to the next level with the Powerhand Grapple Saw — a high-performance attachment that transforms your Ex Series grapple into a powerful and efficient cutting solution.

Designed for forestry site clearance, cross-cutting oversized timber, and managing windblown areas, the Powerhand Grapple Saw delivers precise cutting performance while maintaining safe and controlled material handling in demanding environments.

The range includes three models with unit weights from 165 kg to 254 kg, suitable for excavators from 8 to 30 tonnes. Each unit requires only a single hydraulic flow and return service for operation, while automatic bar return, chain tensioning, and lubrication systems help maximise efficiency and reduce maintenance requirements.

Saw cassettes are available in both 0.40-inch and 0.70-inch pitch chain configurations, allowing operators to select the ideal setup for different applications and machine requirements.

For swinging applications, the grapple saw can be paired with the Indexator GC124S rotator, while rigid installations utilise the XR400 saw rotator. Both systems provide 100% continuous rotation with internally routed hoses for improved hose protection, operator comfort, and long-term reliability.

OMEF

OMEF Grapple Saw GS Series

Fast, Strong and Versatile
The OMEF Grapple Saw is a forestry attachment designed for safe and efficient tree felling, pruning, and log handling in both urban and forestry environments. Once the grapple secures the log, the integrated hydraulic chainsaw performs a clean and controlled cut, allowing safe handling and processing afterwards.

Built with a heavy-duty all-steel structure, the grapple saw is engineered for durability and reliable performance in demanding working conditions.

The system operates using two hydraulic lines: a single-acting line for the chainsaw bar and a double-acting line, controlled through a solenoid valve, for grapple movement and 360° rotation of the slewing ring. The chainsaw bar features automatic lubrication for smoother operation, while safety is enhanced through the double grapple design and hydraulic cylinder lock valve.

For easy installation, all units can be supplied with a machine-specific mounting bracket and hose kit upon request.
